“Girl of My Dreams” Title Sequence

For this project I was contacted by a professor in my Pre-Production class while attending SCAD to create a title sequence for Austin Pope’s thesis film “Girl of My Dreams.” I was inspired by various stills from the film to dictate color choices and communicated with Austin and his Producer via email to decide the typographic style of the sequence.

National Geographic Network ID

The assignment for this project was to create a 15 second bumper for a TV network while following the brand identity of the network. My concept was to take the channel’s core elements of wonder and discovery and synthesize them into an upbeat and simple vector animation. I chose National Geographic because I was inspired by the diverse topics of the network and its iconic logo design. You can check out my process for the project by clicking on the link below!

Rooftop Runner

“Rooftop Runner” is a little different compared to my other motion media projects. Rather than animating vector graphics like I usually do I decided to try out frame by frame animation. The assignment was to create a list of words, develop a short narrative from the list, and then animated it to a soundtrack. Iron Giant Title Sequence

My favorite film of all time is “The Iron Giant” so when I took a title design class in early sophomore year it was my first pick for the class project. Since the film’s main on end title sequence was rather simple I digitally painted nine different frames and animated each one to flow with the title designs.
